Drink Me, Alice

Review by Lucy

About

Alicia, an art and design student, begun working with jewelry in 2003. She visited markets and op-shops in search of vintage art to use in her pieces, creating jewelry described by Alicia as reflecting the child in all of us.

The Drink Me, Alice collection was launched in 2004, inspired by Alicia’s collection of children’s storybooks, and Sir John Tenniel’s original Alice In Wonderland illustrations.

Quality

All of the Drink Me, Alice jewelry is handmade, using high quality costume metal components with a clear glossy resin to finish the design. Selected pieces of the collection also include semi precious gemstones and pearls. In short, it’s been made with care, so it won’t fall apart in the middle of a coffee shop.

Design

Do you remember the wholesome Little Golden Book Collection we had as children, with stories about The Poky Little Puppy, and The Shy Little Kitten? The vintage illustrations used in the Drink Me, Alice collection were found in children’s storybooks, as well as unique art pieces found in op-shops, and markets. We just love the idea.

Price

Pendants range from $33-$35, and earrings from $34.50-$38.50. So you won’t have to save too long for one of these pretty pieces.

Fit

Note that not all necklaces are the same sizes, some pendants are shorter for more everyday wear.
